Green energy co. CEO sells Paradise condo to contractor for $5M

Steven Z. Strasser sold a four-bedroom, 5.5 bath condo in the Park Towers development at 1 Hughes Center Drive in Paradise to Brian and Barbara Pratt for $5 million on Feb. 7.
Strasser paid $2.35 million for Unit #1004 in July 2003.
Strasser is the chairman and CEO of Power Efficiency Corporation, a Las Vegas-headquartered green energy company focused on efficiency technologies for electric motors.
Prior to assuming his current position in 2004, he was the managing director and majority owner of Summit Energy Ventures LLC, which he founded. From 1984-2000 he was the CEO of Northwest Power Enterprise.
Strasser received law degrees from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and the University of Washington in Seattle.
Mr. Pratt is the CEO of ARB, Inc., a multinational construction company headquartered in Lake Forest, Calif.
There are 763 total units in the Hughes Center.
