George D. Rapson and Tiffani A. Jacobs bought a three-bedroom, 2.5 bath at 141 Clouds Rest Point in Mesquite for $354,715 from Pulte Homes Of Nevada on Feb. 14.

The 2,408 square foot house, which is in the Split Rail subdivision, was built in 2007.

Rapson is the general manager of the Casablanca Resort and Casino in Mesquite. He is also the president of the Mesquite Resort Association.

From 1985-1994, the CPA worked as a tax manager at Arthur Andersen.

Rapson attended Troy High School in Fullerton, Calif.

Jacobs is a realtor with Premier Properties. She serves the Mesquite home market.

Prior to joining Premier Properties, she was an agent for Prudential Mesquite Realty and Ence Homes in St. George, Utah.

Jacobs received her bachelor's from Arizona State University and a master's in organizational communications from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro. She relocated to Mesquite in 2000.

Home sales in Mesquite dropped 27 percent in 2007 versus sales in 2006. The median sales price fell from $226,000 to $225,000.
