He also worked with Comdisco, Inc., and started his career in the sales organization at IBM.

He's been a director for a handful of companies such as Composite Software, GameFly, Infoblox, Mark Logic, Primarion and Tira Wireless.

Banahan earned his B.A. from the University of California-Santa Barbara.
