Marshall W. Sylver bought a six-bedroom, 8.5 bath at 8280 Via Olivero Avenue in Las Vegas from Donald and Miroslava Zeiter for $6 million on March 24.

The Zeiters paid $595,000 for the property in May 2002. The 16,680 square foot house was built in 2005.

Sylver bills himself as the "Greatest Hypnotist of All Time," and has also worked as a motivational speaker and self-help guru. He's shared the stage with the likes of Donald Trump, Robert Kiyosaki and Bill Clinton and also appeared on the Howard Stern Show, the Late Show with David Letterman and numerous other talk shows.

He published Passion, Profit & Power in 2007 and has also had an infomercial of the same name.

He got his start as a late night DJ for KJOY-FM in San Diego, Calif.

Mrs. Zeiter has worked as a real estate agent in Las Vegas.

Home sales in Las Vegas dropped almost 29 percent in 2007 versus sales in 2006. The median sales price also fell from $280,000 to $270,000.
