CPA buys 5BD in Summerlin South for $1.437.5M

Charles Reibel and his wife, Catherine, bought a five-bedroom, 4.5 bath at 11660 Evergreen Creek Lane in Summerlin South from Scott B. Snow for $1,437,500 on Jan. 27, 2006.
Snow paid $921,487 for the property in Dec. 2002. The 4,443 square foot house, which is located in the Red Rock Country Club at Summerlin, was built in 2003.
Mr. Reibel, a certified public accountant, is the founding partner of Reibel & Rose, LLP, an accounting firm in Los Angeles, Calif. He has also served as the firm's president.
He has worked as president of Reibel & Rose Financial Services, Inc., a financial systems consulting company. Reibel & Rose, LLP and Reibel & Rose Financial Services, Inc. are affiliates of Charles Reibel, Inc. He has been in the accounting profession since 1971.
Reibel also served as president and a director of Gorilla World, Inc., a privately held company that manufactures and distributes active-wear clothing.
He holds and M.B.A. in taxation from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
Home sales in Summerlin South dropped four percent in 2007 versus sales in 2006. The median sales price also fell from $466,000 to $425,000.
