Stephen B. Aizenberg and Fred Lessman bought a three-bedroom, two bath at 4743 Balsam St. in Las Vegas from Serge Charbonneau for $690,000 on Feb. 16, 2006.

Charbonneau paid $168,750 for the property in Jan. 1996. The 2,383 square foot house, which is located in the Bridle Path Estates, was built in 1979.

Aizenberg, a developer, broker and contractor, is the president of SBA Development, Inc. (Royal Construction Company), which has developed several residential subdivisions and built numerous Spinnaker Homes in Nevada and Northern California.

He also worked for Greater Sierra Construction and spent four years supervising the construction of apartment complexes in Las Vegas and Reno.

In 1987, he formed SBA Development-California and developed hundreds of homes throughout Northern California. In 1992, he obtained his Nevada General Contractor's license and formed SBA Development-Nevada.

Prior to a career in real estate, Aizenberg worked with Central Valley Bank in Oakland, Calif.

Aizenberg has a degree in business and economics from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, Calif.

Mr. Lessman has served as vice president of land acquisition at Permabilt Homes, a builder of residential homes in Las Vegas. In 2002, the company was acquired by Meritage Corporation.

Charbonneau is a principal consultant at Xelaration Software Corporation, an Ontario, Canada-based provider of software engineering solutions.

He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Montreal.

Home sales in Las Vegas dropped almost 29 percent in 2007 versus sales in 2006. The median sales price also fell from $280,000 to $270,000.
