Hollywood producer turned Vegas restaurateur spends $1.1M in Paradise

Victor Drai bought a two-bedroom, 2.5 condo at 4575 Dean Martin Dr. in Paradise from Panorama Towers, LLC for $1.1 million on April 4.

The 2,953 square foot Unit #3302 is in the Panorama Towers development.

Mr. Drai is the owner of Drai's On The Strip, an after hours club and restaurant in the Barbary Coast hotel and casino.

His career in the restaurant business started in Beverly Hills when he opened Drai's in the mid 1990s. It became one of the most successful restaurants in Los Angeles, which led him to open the Vegas version in 1997. L.A.'s Drai's closed in 1998.

Prior to becoming a restaurateur, Drai was into producing Hollywood films during the 1980s. He is credited as a producer for the films The Woman in Red, starring Gene Wilder, Weekend at Bernie's and 1992's Folks!

The native of Morocco had a long-term relationship with movie star Jacqueline Bisset, and he later married Kelly LeBrock, who made her acting debut in The Woman in Red.

Condo sales in Paradise dropped 32 percent in 2007 versus sales in 2006. The median sales price rose from $375,000 to $512,000.

Panorama Towers, built in 2007, is a high-rise development consisting of three towers.
