Gas station, supermarket owners buys 4BD in North Las Vegas

Jerome L. Kallop and his wife, Marthanna, bought four-bedroom, three bath at 2637 Blue Ave. in North Las Vegas from Deutsche Bank for $230,000 on April 8.

The 2,362 square foot house, which is in the Shadow Creek Manor subdivision, was built in 2005.

Mr. Kallop is the owner of a Chevron station and store in eastern Las Vegas.

He and his wife also ran supermarkets in several towns in Kentucky.

Home sales in North Las Vegas dropped 47 percent in 2007 versus sales in 2006. The median sales price also fell from $304,000 to $275,000.
