Perneatha C. Evans bought a three-bedroom, three bath at 1213 Spottswood Avenue in North Las Vegas from Deutsche Bank for $240,000 on April 21.
The 2,865 square foot house, which is in the Geyser Peak subdivision, was built in 2006.
Evans works for Quest Diagnostics in Las Vegas.
Her late husband, Capt. Kermit Evans, served in the Air Force. He was killed during in a helicopter crash while serving in Iraq in 2006.
Home sales in North Las Vegas dropped 47 percent in 2007 versus sales in 2006. The median sales price also fell from $304,000 to $275,000.
