Monel Herscovici and his wife, Lea, bought a two-bedroom, two bath condo at 222 Karen Ave. in Winchester from Turnberry Towers, LP for $1.17 million on May 9.

The 1,657 square foot Unit #4007 is in the Turnberry Towers at Paradise development.

Mr. Hersovici served as president of Los Angeles-based Edge Business Services, Corp. until his resignation in 2005.

He and Jeff Morgan, who was vice president for sales and marketing at Edge, planned to form their own company.

Condo sales in Spring Valley dropped 42 percent in 2007 versus sales in 2006. The median sales price also fell from $182,000 to $175,000.

Turnberry Towers at Paradise is a two-tower high-rise development that houses 316 suites per tower.
