Dr. Donald Moine bought a three-bedroom, 2.5 bath at 2867 Queens Courtyard Dr. in Winchester from William R. Fry for $700,000 on May 20.

Fry paid $799,000 for the 4,136 square foot house, which was built in 1985, in Sep. 2004. The property is in the Las Vegas Country Club Fairway Estates.

Dr. Moine is a consultant and advisor to major corporations around the world and is credited as one of the founders in the field of sales and marketing psychology. He is also a best-selling author and his 1983 book, Modern Persuasion Strategies, has become a hit in several countries.

He is the founder of DrMoine.com, a division of the Association of Human Achievement, Inc., which he formed with several college professors and graduate students.

He also published Ultimate Selling Power: How to Create and Enjoy a Multi-million Dollar Sales Career, which he co-authored with New York Times syndicated columnist Dr. Ken Lloyd.

Dr. Moine attended the University of California-Santa Cruz.

Home sales in Winchester rose nine percent in 2007 versus sales in 2006. The median sales price also went up from $277,000 to $511,000.
