Drs. Brian E. Syska and Heidi A. Kabler bought a four-bedroom, 3.5 bath at 1709 Authentic Court in Henderson from Aurora Loan Services for $745,000 on May 7.

Aurora Loan Services foreclosed on the property in February. Duane Broadhead paid $1.51 million for it in Dec. 2006.

The 4,015 square foot house, which was built in 2001, is in the Foothills at MacDonald Ranch subdivision.

Syska is an emergency physician at the Kettering Medical Center in Ohio.

He graduated in 2004 from the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. The Ohio native received his undergraduate degree in biological sciences from WSU, where he received the Woody Hayes National Scholar-Athlete Award.

Kabler is also a physician at the Kettering Medical Center and attended the WSU Boonshoft School of Medicine.

Home sales in Henderson dropped nearly 24 percent in 2008 versus sales in 2007. The median sales price also fell from $328,000 to $278,000.
