Former Rebels hoopster turned realtor buys 3BD in One Queensridge Place

Greg S. Goorjian and his wife, Patricia, bought a three-bedroom, 3.5 bath condo at 9103 Alta Dr. in Las Vegas from Peccole Nevada Corporation for $2,378,064 on May 19.

The 5,074 square foot Unit #1702 is in phase two of One Queensridge Place.

Mr. Goorjian is vice president of marketing and sales for the One Queensridge Place project. A former basketball player during high school and college, he is the son of Ed Goorjian, who is one of the most successful high school coaches in California state history.

During his high school years at Crescenta Valley High School, Greg Goorjian led the team to two-straight Nevada Class 2A state titles and was named a McDonald's All-American and a Parade All-American during his senior year in 1978.

He has lived in Las Vegas since 1981 and entered the real estate business after graduating from UNLV, where he played for the Rebels. He was drafted by the Golden State Warriors during the 1983 NBA Draft but was eventually released.

Greg Goorjian has coached his youngest son at The Meadows School in Summerlin. He was formerly married to Leann Peccole, youngest daughter of Las Vegas real estate magnate William Peccole of Peccole Nevada Corporation, where he also served as executive assistant.

He holds a degree in business administration with emphasis on real estate and finance.

One Queensridge Place is a two 18-story tower condominium development that features 219 luxury units.

Condo sales in Las Vegas dropped 53 percent in 2007 versus sales in 2006. The median sales price fell slightly from $199,000 to $196,000.
