Alyne Gwen Strusser sold a four-bedroom, three bath home at 386 Bradford Drive in Henderson to Pablo and Merquita Antonio for $319,900 on July 10.

The 2,031-square-foot house, which was built in 1989, is in Green Valley South subdivision.

Strusser teaches sixth grade English at Del Webb Middle School in Henderson. She has taught a variety of grades during her more than 25 years as a teacher.

She is also currently serving as chairperson of the English department and is a member of the English Advisory Council.

She received her B.A. in journalism and B.S. in education from the University of Nevada-Reno. She obtained her M.A. in curriculum and instruction from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.

Home sales in Henderson dropped 21 percent in 2008 versus sales in 2007. The median sales price also fell from $328,000 to $279,000.
