Stewart M. Freshwater bought a four-bedroom, 3.5 bath home at 4716 Estate Ranch Street in North Las Vegas from Wells Fargo Bank for $425,500 on Aug. 8.

Wells Fargo Bank foreclosed on the property in May. It was previously owned by Brian and Brenda Luna, who bought it for $679,543 in 2006.

The 3,654-square-foot house, which was built in 2006, is in the Celebrates Lone Mountain Estates neighborhood.

Freshwater is a visual artist, who has showcased his works through the Contemporary Arts Collective (CAC) in Las Vegas.

Home sales in North Las Vegas are up 25 percent in 2008 versus sales in 2007. The median sales price, however, is down from $275,000 to $206,000 so far this year.
