Engineer, radiologist buy in Enterprise

Jerry A. Devee and and his wife, Linda, bought a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 9033 Faversham Court in Enterprise from Martin Basch for $327,000 on Aug. 25.

Basch paid $465,000 for the property in May 2006.

The 1,988-square-foot house, which is in the Crytal Springs subdivision, was built in 2002.

Mr. Devee has worked in Caterpillar's wheel loader and excavator division as a torque engineer in Aurora, Ill.

Mrs. Devee has served as director of radiology services at Edward Hospital in Naperville, Ill.

Home sales in Enterprise are up nearly four percent in 2008 versus sales in 2007. The median sales price has fallen from $307,000 in 2007 to $235,000 so far this year.
