Steven F. Wishard and his wife, Amy Jo, bought a four-bedroom, two-bath home at 1540 Georgia Ave. in Boulder City from the Bank of New York for $379,900 on Sept. 10.

The 2,072-square-foot house, which was built in 1988, is in the La Mancha subdivision.

Wishard has worked as an estimator project manager for The Morse Group of Cos., a provider of industrial products, engineering, contracting and automation services for the commercial, industrial and utility markets. The company has offices in Nevada, Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin.

Home sales in Boulder City are down 28 percent in 2008 versus sales in 2007. The median sales price is also down from $290,000 in 2007 to $224,000 so far this year.
