Family doctor sells in Moapa Valley

Dr. Gregory L. Nielsen and his wife, Julia, sold a four-bedroom, four-bath home at 3782 Mahalo Circle in Moapa Valley for $575,000 to Michael J. Gorman and his wife, Natasha, on Sept. 23.

The sale for the property was listed at $719,000.

The 4,134-square-foot house was built in 2000.

Dr. Nielsen is a family physician at Mohave Family Practice in Logandale.

He received his M.D. from University Of Calgary in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where he also completed his family medicine residency.

There have been 80 sales in Moapa Valley thus far in 2008. The median sales price is at $253,349 so far this year.
