Mehdi M. Vazeen and Ashley H. Vazeen bought a two-bedroom, 2.5-bath condo at 2777 Paradise Road in Winchester from Wells Fargo Bank for $550,000 on Oct. 17.

Wells Fargo foreclosed on the property in August.

The 2,195-square-foot Unit #1503 is in the Turnberry Place development.

Mr. Vazeen is an ophthalmologist who has been affiliated with the Center for Advanced Eyecare in Carson City.

He earned his medical degree at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago in 1982 and completed his residency in ophthalmology and internal medicine at the Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation.

Ms. Vazeen has worked as a nurse at the Western Nevada Surgical Center in Carson City.

The Turnberry Place, which was completed in 2002, houses 770 units in four 45-story towers. Sales in the building dropped 71 percent from 2006-2007.

There have been 635 sales in Winchester thus far in 2008 with median sales price of $254,000.
