James L. Maupin and his wife, Sandra, bought a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath at 6578 Golden Bit Ave. in Lone Mountain from Deutsche Bank Trust Co., Americas for $496,900 on Nov. 12.

Deutsche Bank Trust Co., Americas acquired the property on May 9 in a foreclosure. The 3,136-square-foot house was built in 2003 in the Steeplechase neighborhood.

Mr. Maupin is a senior project manager at Longenecker and Associates, a Las Vegas-based international consulting company specializing in management, engineering, energy, environmental, business and regulatory issues. He has served as a senior project manager for the company's interests in Yucca Mountain.

Prior to his current assignment, Mr. Maupin held a number of management positions with The U.S. Department of Energy in Richland, Wash. Before joining the DOE, he was with the Morrison-Knudsen Corp, a Boise, Idaho-based construction company.

He received a B.S. in biology from Missouri Southern State College in Joplin, Mo. and an M.B.A. from Boise State University.

There have been 455 sales in Lone Mountain in 2008, with a median price of $435,000.
