Fighter pilot buys in North Vegas

Jammie Jamieson and Kevin Jamieson bought a four-bedroom, 4.5-bath home at 7408 Redhead Dr. in North Las Vegas from the U.S. Bank National Association for $335,000 on Oct. 30.

The 3,635-square-foot house was built in 2007.

Ms. Jamieson has served as an air force captain at the 525th Fighter Squadron at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Alaska. She is also the first female who qualified to pilot the F-22A Raptor.

She earned her degree in aeronautical engineering from the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. and a master's in public policy from Harvard University.

Mr. Jamieson teaches as Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada.

There have been 8,873 home sales in North Las Vegas in 2008, with a median sales price of $189,900.
