Vegas arts specialist buys in Lone Mountain

Patrick C. Duffy sold a four-bedroom, 4.5-bath home at 6243 Orto Vaso Ave. in Lone Mountain to Alexis Ryan and Marie B. Maher for $690,000 on Oct. 30.

Duffy paid $823,155 for the property in Feb. 2007. The 4,026-square-foot house is in the Rome & Torrey Pines subdivision.

Duffy is the internal and external customer-centric executive at the City of Las Vegas Arts Commission, where he is in charge of value engineering, the internal staff and external customer relations.

Maher has served as a food, beverage, and hospitality service consultant at MBM Food Service Consultancy, LLC, in Las Vegas.

She has also served as the vice president of operations at Ellis Gaming and Entertainment, LLC, a gaming management and development company, the executive director of food and beverage at the Wynn Hotel Casino Resort and at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino and a general manager at Rainbow Room, a restaurant and nightclub in New York City.

She has also worked as a restaurant manager at Nectar in the Bellagio Resort and at Windows on the World in New York. She attended the National University of Ireland and earned a degree in art and graphic arts from the University of Limerick.

There have been 455 home sales in Lone Mountain in 2008, with a median sales price of $435,000.
