NBA point guard spends $1.5M in Spring Valley

Milwaukee Bucks point guard Tyronn Lue bought a four-bedroom, four-bath home at 2926 Montessouri St. in Spring Valley from Chris C. Byrd and Tracy L. Byrd for $1.5 million on Dec. 19.

The Byrds paid $1.74 million for the property in May 2003. The 9,149-square-foot house was built in 2001.

Lue, 31, is in his 10th year in the NBA, and his first with the Milwaukee Bucks. The veteran point guard has played for seven teams in his career since he was drafted out of Nebraska, most successfully for three seasons with the Atlanta Hawks from 2004-07. He posted his best single-season marks during that run, including 5.4 assists and 13.5 points per game during the 2004-05 season.

Lue was originally debuted by the Los Angeles Lakers and spent three years there, before eventually suiting up for the Washington Wizards, Orlando Magic, Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks. He's averaged 8.7 points per game for his career and has played in the postseason three times, most recently with the Mavericks last season. He is originally from Missouri.

There have been 6,015 sales in Spring Valley thus far in 2008, with a median sales price of $215,000.
