Annette and Fardean Alcott bought a six-bedroom, 4.5-bath at 15 Perennial Border Ct. in Spring Valley from DLJ Mortgage Capital, Inc., for $379,000 on Nov. 24.

DLJ Mortgage Capital, Inc., foreclosed on the property on Aug. 29. The 4,148-square-foot home was built in 2000.

Mr. and Ms. Alcott are the former owners and operators of Southern Highlands Preparatory Academy, a Las Vegas-based private school for children from preschool through eighth grade. The school was acquired by Nobel Learning Communities, Inc., on Aug. 6.

Ms. Alcott currently serves as the director of curriculum and admissions for Southern Highlands Preparatory School. Mr. and Ms. Alcott also founded Learning Unlimited International Schools, a nonprofit organization, in Columbus, Ohio.

There were 6,015 sales in Spring Valley in 2008, with a median price of $215,000.
