Kenenth E. Goates bought a five-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 2575 Calanques Terrace in Henderson from the U.S. Bank National Association for $360,000 on Jan. 21.
The U.S. Bank National Association and Master Adjustable Rate Mortgages Trust 2007-2 foreclosed on the property in September. The 3,800-square-foot house was built in 2007.
Mr. Goates is an attorney who has worked with Los Angeles law firm Murchison & Cumming. He specializes in property losses and fraud investigations.
Prior to joining Murchison & Cumming, he established the coverage counsel office for The Travelers Insurance Co., for the Western United States. He graduated from Pepperdine University Law School.
There were 8,182 home sales in Henderson in 2008, with a median sales price of $260,000.
