Dr. Edd Evans bought a four-bedroom, four-bath at 8100 Tower Bridge Ave. in Las Vegas from Anthony D. Previte for $642,000 on Jan. 26.

The 3,848-square-foot, two-story house was built in 1999 in the Castle Gate neighborhood.

Dr. Evans is an anesthesiologist who has practiced at Saint Rose Dominican Hospital in Henderson. He earned his M.D. degree from the Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minn., and he completed his residency at the University of Nevada School of Medicine.

There were 17,920 home sales in Las Vegas in 2008, with a median sale price of $205,000.
