Kentucky pathologist settles in North Las Vegas

Dr. Nandkumar Bathija and Sushila Bathija bought a three-bedroom, three-bath home at 3717 Avondale Breeze Ave. in North Las Vegas from Centex Homes for $313,000 on Jan. 30.
The 2,775-square-foot house was built in 2006.
Dr. Bathija is a pathologist who specializes in clinical pathology and laboratory medicine in Harlan, Ky. He earned his M.D. from Seth G.S. Medical College at the University of Bombay in India.
There were 17,920 home sales in Las Vegas in 2008, with a median sale price of $205,000.
