Jeffrey S. Plotkin and his wife, Jody, bought a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 10840 Sterling Forest Avenue in Summerlin South from FDIC Conservation and Indymac Federal Bank FSB for $310,000 on Feb. 25.
Indyman foreclosed on the property in Aug. 2008. The 2,825-square-foot house in the Bella Veranda at Summerlin was built in 2001.
Mr. Plotkin is a licensed attorney, CPA and realtor at Habitat Hunters Real Estate Services, a real estate business he co-owns with his wife in Austin, Texas. Prior to this, he worked with Price Waterhouse and Western Atlas International.
He graduated form the University of Texas with a degree in business administration and his J.D. from the University Of Texas School of Law.
Mrs. Plotkin is the president and co- owner of Habitat Hunters Real Estate Services. She earned a degree in business administration from The University of Texas.
There were 941 home sales in Summerlin South in 2008, with a median sales price of $317,500.
