Michael T. Carr and his wife, Jenni, have listed for sale a five-bedroom, six-bath mansion at 2564 Red Arrow Dr. in Summerlin South for $2.599 million.

Eleanor Lee Medick of The Silberman, Medick, Krygier & Zanganeh Group is the listing agent.

The Carrs bought the property for $460,000 in Dec. 2000. The 5,371-square-foot residence, which was built in 2003, is in the neighborhood of Red Rock Country Club at Summerlin.

Mr. Carr is the president of the Greenspun Media Group. He was named to the position in 2003.

Greenspun Media publishes some of Southern Nevada’s easily recognizable titles including Vegas and the Las Vegas Sun.

Carr joined Greenspun after serving as president of publishing for Playboy. Prior to that, he was president and CEO of Wieder Publications, which publishes titles such as Shape and Men’s Fitness.

Born in Brooklyn, he has been residing part-time in Las Vegas since 1999.

There were 998 home sales in Summerlin South in 2008, with median sales price of $303,500.
