Former Air Force doc buys in Las Vegas

Dr. Horace Paul Guerra, IV, bought a five-bedroom, three-bath at 12244 Montura Rosa Place in Las Vegas from Aurora Loan Services for $340,000 on April 17.
Aurora Loan Services, LLC, foreclosed on the property in Jan. 2009.
The 3,044-square-foot home was built in 2005.
Dr. Guerra practices family medicine in Las Vegas. Prior to moving to Las Vegas, Dr. Guerra served as a locum tenens physician with the VA Health Care System in Alexandria, La. Previously, he was a physician and hospitalist at Baylor Medical Center and Methodist Charleston Medical Center in Waxahachie, Texas. Earlier, he was a flight physician and flight surgeon with the U.S. Air Force.
Dr. Guerra received his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Texas A&M University and his M.D. University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
There were 21,372 sales in Las Vegas in 2008, with a median price of $170,000.
