Orthopedic surgeon drops $1.05M in Peccole Ranch

Dr. Timothy J. Trainor and Maribeth M. Trainor bought a four-bedroom, 4.5-bath home at 9805 Queen Charlotte Dr. in Las Vegas for $1.05 million from Gary and Sonia Davis on April 28.

The Davises paid $1.39 million for the property in April 2007. The 4,693-square-foot home, which was built in 2001, is in the Peccole Ranch neighborhood.

Dr. Timothy Trainor is a consulting physician with the Nevada Athletic Commission, and a physician at Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Henderson.

He's also served as a lieutenant commander with the United States Navy. He earned his M.D. from the Northwestern University-Feinberg School of Medicine, and his bachelor's from Notre Dame.

There were 21,372 home sales in Las Vegas in 2008, with a median price of $170,000.
