Dr. Michael Scheidler and his wife, Raelene, bought a five-bedroom, 6.5-bath home at 16 Paradise Valley Court in Henderson from Aurora Loan Services LLC for $1.2 million on May 29.

Aurora Loan Services foreclosed on the property in Feb. 12. The 6,738-square-foot home was built in 2005 in the McDonald Ranch neighborhood.

Dr. Scheidler is pediatric surgeon at the Center for Children’s Surgery in Las Vegas.

He earned both his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Pittsburgh. He completed his fellowship in pediatric trauma surgery at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and his fellowship in general pediatric surgery at the Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

Mrs. Scheidler is a pediatric intensive care and neonatal intensive care nurse.

There were 8,915 sales in Henderson in 2008, with a median price of $225,000.
