Yihong Liu bought the four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 1475 Foothills Village Dr. in Henderson from Michael A. Bonakdar and June T. Bonakdar for $620,000 on May 21.

Michael Bonakdar acquired the property for $1.334 million in July 2005. The 3,739-square-foot house was built in 2004 in the Anthem/MacDonald Ranch neighborhood.

Liu is the principal architect for Yihong Liu + Associates, an architectural design studio in Las Vegas. He's also served as a design director at KKE-HFTA and a design architect for Swisher & Hall AIA, LTD. He also worked as a designer at HCA Architects.

Mr. Bonakdar is the president and chief executive officer of Veritas Casino Solutions. Prior to that, he was the chief operating officer of Epic Gaming and held key positions at Harrah’s Entertainment and the MGM Mirage Corp.

He earned his bachelor’s in hotel administration from UNLV. He is a native of Chicago, Ill.

There were 9,032 home sales in Henderson in 2008, with a median price of $225,000.
