Dallas software engineer selling in Northeast Las Vegas

Christopher Berlien and Maria Berlien have listed for sale a four-bedroom, 5.5-bath home at 7278 Silver Charm Court in Las Vegas for $450,000.

The Berliens bought the property for $586,486 in Oct. 2002. The 6,337-square-foot house, which was built in 2002, is in the Tenaya Farms subdivision in the Northeast Las Vegas neighborhood.

Laura Worthington of Realty Executives of Nevada Worthington Group is the listing agent for the home.

Mr. Berlien is the principal software engineer at MapFrame in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

He earned his bachelor's in electrical engineering and computer engineering from the University of North Carolina University.

There were 22,124 home sales in Las Vegas in 2008, with median sales price of $152,000.
