Kansas businessman scores in Las Vegas

Virgil Meinholdt and Judith Meinholdt bought a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath at 2216 Airlands St. in Las Vegas from Wanda Lee Provins and T.D. Provins for $536,500 on May 26.

The Provinses paid $575,000 for the property in March 2001.

The 2,318-square-foot home was built in 1997 in Summerlin.

Mr. Meinholdt has served as the president and treasurer at Fastpro International, Inc., a wholesaler of durable goods based in Kansas City, Kan.

There were 22,364 sales in Las Vegas in 2008, with a median price of $150,000.
