Dr. Basem M. Azar and Alice E. Azar bought a two-bedroom, two-bath condo at 2877 Paradise Road in Winchester from The Bank of America National Association on June 8.

The Bank of America National Association foreclosed on the property in Oct. 2008.

The 1,712-square-foot Unit #1706 is part of Turnberry Place condo development, which was built in 2001 on the Las Vegas Strip.

Dr. Azar practices radiologist in Havre de Grace, Md. and is affiliated with the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center and Harford Memorial Hospital. He received his M.D. from the American University of Beirut Faculty of Medicine in Lebanon.

Sales at Turnberry Place dropped 7.3 percent from 2007-2008. The median sales price also fell 1.4 percent during that same time period.

There were 392 condo sales in Winchester in 2008, with a median sales price of $147,000.
