Patricia J. Mcbride and David M. Tyburski bought a four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 12249 Montura Rosa Place in Las Vegas from Trevor Sheldon and Frances Ilene Sheldon for $450,000 on June 11.

The Sheldons paid $780,000 for the property in Nov. 2006. The 3,423-square-foot house was built in 2005 in Summerlin.

Mr. Tyburski is a senior engineer at Encore, the newest Las Vegas luxury suite resort at Wynn Las Vegas. He earned his bachelor's of business administration from Francis Marion University in Florence, S.C.

There were 22,430 home sales in Las Vegas in 2008, with a median sales price of $146,500.
