Printing technology exec settles on Spring Valley 3BD

Tracey Chernay bought a three-bedroom, 2.5 bath home at 7665 Spanish Bay Dr. in Spring Valley from David D. Johnson for $599,000 on June 24.
Johnson paid $668,000 for the property in Dec. 2005. The 2,871-square-foot house was built in 1984 in the Greater Spanish Trail neighborhood.
Chernay is the senior vice president of sales and marketing at TransAct Technologies, Inc., an international producer of transaction-based printers. She is responsible for the marketing of all the company's markets, as well as gaming, lottery, kiosk, POS and banking. She joined the Connecticut-based company in 2005 after more than 20 years with the Xerox Corp.
She received her B.S. from Palm Beach Atlantic University and her M.B.A. from Emory University in Atlanta.
There were 7,563 home sales in Spring Valley in 2008, with a median sales price of $163,300.
