Water District engineer settles in Henderson

Matthew Brems and Lily Brems bought a five-bedroom, 4.5-bath at 35 Contra Costa Place in Henderson from US Bank National Association and CSFB ARMT 2006-2 for $452,000 on June 30.
US Bank National Association and CSFB ARMT 2006-2 foreclosed on the property in Dec. 2008. The 4,333-square-foot home was built in 2002 in the Anthem MacDonald Ranch neighborhood.
Mr. Brems is a control systems engineer with the Las Vegas Valley Water District. He previously served as a project engineer at the pharmaceutical company, Merck & Co. Inc.
He attended Temple University.
There were 9,089 sales in Henderson in 2008, with a median price of $217,938.
