Deaf-blindness expert scores Winchester condo

Barbara A. Mcletchie bought a two-bedroom, two-bath condo at 3111 Bel Air Dr. in Winchester from Alma Macphail for $360,000 on June 30.

Macphail paid $600,000 for the 1,856-square-foot Unit #12E in May 2005. The condo is in the Las Vegas C.C. development.

Mcletchie has been director of the deaf-blind teacher preparation program Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Mass., and has served as a consultant for the Hilton/Perkins program at the Perkins School for the Blind in Watertown, Mass.

She has worked in the field of deaf-blindness for more than 30 years.

There were 392 condo sales in Winchester in 2008, with a median price of $147,000.
