California banker moving into Summerlin 3BD

Alvin and Joyce Kand bought a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 2916 Big Green Lane in Las Vegas from Dawn E. Mancuso for $353,800 on Aug. 27.

The 2,210-square-foot house was built in 1995 in the neighborhood of Summerlin.

Mr. Kang is executive vice president and chief financial officer of Los Angeles-headquartered Nara Bancorp Inc.

Prior to joining the bank in 2005, he was executive vice president/COO/CFO of Broadway Financial Corp. He also held a senior position at Takenaka & Co., an investment banking and consulting company. He was also an audit partner at KPMG LLP and at Ernst & Young LLP.

The Kangs recently sold a home at 4621 Fiore Blvd. in Unincorporated Las Vegas.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 22,287 sales in Las Vegas in 2008, with median sales price of $130,000.
