Casino marketing pro settles in Henderson

Medium 51bf514dd9859c222425b32ea92b8c58 Walter Fales and Jennifer Palumbo bought a four-bedroom, five-bath home at 2640 Mirabella St. in Henderson from U.S. Bank Na for $860,000 on Sept. 15.

U.S. Bank foreclosed on the property in March.

The 5,189-square-foot house was built in 2003 in the Seven Hills Area neighborhood.

Fales serves as the executive director of casino marketing strategy at The Venetian and The Palazzo. He's also served as director of planning and analysis for the US based operations of the Las Vegas Sands, and the manager of western division planning analysis at Caesars Palace and Harrah's Entertainment.

He received his B.S. degree in hotel administration from Cornell University.

Palumbo serves as the director of media performance and analysis at Harrah's Entertainment. She's also served as director of Magaritaville Resort and Casino, and a brand management associate, project manager, and financial assistant for Harrah's Entertainment.

She received her bachelor's degree in finance and management from Tulane University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 9,280 sales in Henderson during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $190,000.
