Rodney L. Soesbe and his wife, Judy, sold a five-bedroom, 5.5-bath home at 8480 Del Vista Court in Unincorporated Las Vegas to James and Marie Broderick for $530,000 on July 23.

The Soesbes paid $56,000 for the property in Oct. 1993. The 3,847-square-foot house was built in 1994 in Mountains Edge/West Enterprise.

Mr. Soesbe was the head coach of the UNLV baseball team. He joined the school's athletics department in 1985 as a baseball hitting instructor. He was the head coach at Lee College in Texas and he also coached at Yavapai College and New Mexico State University.

He graduated from New Mexico State University in 1970 and earned his master's from West Texas State.

Ms. Soesbe has served as a financial analyst at America Online.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 35,432 homes sales in Unincorporated Las Vegas during the last 12 months, with a median sales price of $122,000.
