UNLV professor buys Henderson 5BD

Dr. Seyhmus Baloglu bought a five-bedroom, 4.5-bath home at 2408 Antrim Irish Drive in Henderson from Iqbal Hussain and Farzana Hayat for $426,000 on Aug. 10.
Hussain and Hayat paid $675,240 for the 3,744-square-foot property in April 2004. It was built in 2004 in Seven Hills Area. It is located in the Anthem Highlands subdivision.
Dr. Baloglu is a professor and associate dean for academic research at the UNLV William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration. Prior to UNLV, he taught at Virginia Tech and at Mersin University in Turkey.
He earned his bachelor's degree in tourism and hotel administration from Cukurova University in Turkey. He holds an M.B.A. from Hawaii Pacific University and a Ph.D. from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 9,933 home sales in Henderson in the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $168,000.
