Treasure Island Hotel owner buys $15M Las Vegas home

Medium 06aafb2d0cc15f25b26a2c872067b3e5 Phillip G. Ruffin bought an eighteen-bedroom, 9.5-bath home at 7030 Tomiyasu Lane in Las Vegas from Eric A. Peterson for $15 million on April 29.

Peterson paid $14 million for the property in July 2004. The 32,767-square-foot house was built in 1996. It is located in South of Sunset.

Ruffin is a businessman. He holds a half interest in Trump International Tower, and owns Treasure Island Hotel and Casino, Harper Trucks, and Angelus Manufacturing. Previously, he was the owner of the Nevada Frontier Hotel and Casino.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 34,888 home sales in Las Vegas during the past 12 months, with a median sale price of $121,000.
