William C. Beglinger and Susan M. Beglinger sold a six-bedroom, eight-bath home at 10 Cedar Chase Drive in Henderson to Norman R. Higo and Donna J. Higo for $2 million on July 29.

The Beglingers paid $550,000 for the property in Oct. 2004. The 9,397-square-foot house was built in 2006 in Anthem/MacDonald Ranch.

Ms. Beglinger is a licensed marriage and family therapist in Las Vegas, Nevada. She specializes in communication and relationship issues, secrets, conflict, separation or divorce, life transitions, anger, depression, anxiety, singleness, self esteem, body image, eating disorders, chronic illness and sexual trauma. She previously worked in a general hospital medical center for seven years.

She earned her bachelor's in medical technology/microbiology from Northern Arizona University, her master's in rehabilitation counseling and master's in marriage and family therapy from the University of Nevada - Las Vegas.

The Beglingers also sold homes at 1518 Villa Rica Drive, 12 Anthem Pointe Court and 101 Quail Run Road in Henderson.

Mr. Higo is a retired executive of Mikasa, Inc., a wholesale supplier of tabletop fashion products. He previously served the company in various positions including executive vice president and treasurer, president and chief operating officer of international operations and consultant.

He earned his bachelor's in accounting from the University of Southern California.

The Higos also own a four-bedroom, 4.5 bath home at 40 Golf Crest Court in Henderson. They bought the property for $1.3 million in May 2008.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 10,814 home sales in Henderson during the past 12 months, with a median sale price of $150,000.
