Matthew Wirig bought a six-bedroom, five-bath home at 1280 Rose Quartz Road in Henderson from Robert L. Strehlow Jr. for $550,000 on Nov. 23.

The 5,624-square-foot house, built in 2007, is in the Black Mountain Area.

Wirig is an orthodontist with his own clinic.

He received his doctor of dental medicine degree and specialty training in orthodontics from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. He completed his undergraduate studies at the College of Southern Nevada, the University of Nevada Las Vegas and Brigham Young University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 11,076 home sales in Henderson during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $145,000.
