Hing Yip Yim bought a five-bedroom, 4.5-bath home at 2173 Pont Alma Court in Henderson from Richard J. Timpson and Teri A. Timpson for $382,500 on Jan. 25.

The Timpsons paid $375,000 for the property in January 2010. The 3,612-square-foot house was built in 2007 in Seven Hills Area.

Yim serves as the director of nightclub operations at TAO Las Vegas.

Richard Timpson has been a financial consultant at FirstService Residential Management. Prior to that, he was a corporate controller at RMI Management LLC, a management consulting company headquartered in Toronto, Canada. He worked as a controller at Sorenco Laboratories, chief financial officer at American Home Business Association, controller at Christensen Boyles Corporation, and senior accountant, marketing specialist and supervisor at Surety Life Insurance Company.

He earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from Brigham Young University and his master's degree from the University of Utah.

Teri Timpson works as a principal at Ollie Detwiler Elementary School in Las Vegas.

The Timpsons were featured in School principal opts for 5BD in Seven Hills in February 2010.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 11,123 home sales in Henderson during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $145,000.
