Hip-hop mogul Suge Knight paid $1.625 million for this home from 1996, the year he was sent to prison on charges of parole violation. He sold the home for $1.2 million in 1998, which was three years before he'd get out of jail. Knight was in many ways the king of the hip-hop world in the early-mid 1990s as the CEO of Death Row Records, which produced massive hit albums such as Dr. Dre's The Chronic and Snoop Dog's Doggystyle. In 2006, Death Row went bankrupt, and in 2009, an auction was to liquidate everything that was in the Death Row Records office.
