Race driver Al Unser, Jr.'s, Vegas home

by BlockShopper Historian published Aug. 3, 2009

Former Indy car racer and two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Al Unser, Jr., has owned this four-bedroom, three-bath in Henderson since 2000, the year he left CART to join the fledgling Indy Racing League. He injured his pelvis in an ATV accident in 2003, and after having difficulty securing a ride, temporarily retired from racing in 2004, a decade after his final Indianapolis 500 victory. He rejoined the racing ranks and drove in the 2006 Indianapolis 500, but announced earlier this year he was hanging up his Indy Car shoes for good. He is the son of racing legend Al Unser.
